The Last Light (Immortalfox) Chapter 5

It was Saturday and I had just told James and Seamus my feelings about Eddie the day before. I had talked to Eddie earlier today and he said that I could go over and stay at his house for the weekend. I asked mom and she said yes. I just hope that she will stay farther away from dad.

I thanked her and went upstairs to pack my stuff. I got everything I would need, cloths, phone, tooth brush and tooth paste, stuff like that. Eddie said he lived just a few streets down, which was awesome! I said goodbye to mom and started to walk to Eddie's.

I got there in about 6 or 7 minutes. I rang the door bell and heard Eddie yell that he got it from inside the house. It was a pretty nice little house. Clean and not all battered and beat up like I was.

Eddie swung the door open with a huge smile on his face.

"Hey, Aleks. Come on in." He said calmly, gesturing in his home.

"Yes, your majesty." I said bowing then contiuning inside.

He lead the way down the hall to a large-ish bedroom.

"This is my room." He pointed to a corner. "You can throw your stuff over there." I took that literally.

I picked up my bag of stuff and threw it at the corner of the room. Eddie let out one of his cute and loud giggles. I laughed too.

"Well, do you want to play this new xbox game I got?" My eyes widened.

"You have an xbox?!" I asked excitedly, turning to face him.

He stared deep into my eyes. "Ya, you want t-" I cut him off.

"YES!" I jumped over onto the bed and faced the TV.

"Alright. Guess you don't have this at your house." He giggled again. Damn... that laugh was so irresistable, I could just lean over and kiss him right now.

"Nope."

He put in a game called boarderlands 2. I have been wanting to play this but don't have an xbox. We played for a while then I started to rage, like usual. We were pushing each other around and laughing. Then I pushed him and he started to fall over. He was quick and grabbed my shirt collar. He pulled me with him.

I was now on top of him.

My arms had fallen forward and were on his chest. He still held my shirt collar. Our lips were inches apart. We both stayed there for a few seconds more, staring into each other's fudge colored eyes. Then I got up in a quick and swift movment. I sat and looked down at my feet. I didn't know what to do now. I glanced at Eddie, without moving my head, and saw him still laying there, staring at where I sat now. What was he staring at me still for? Did he think I was a freak now?
